Week 35

August 17, 2015

Dear family and friends. I am so glad that I get the opportunity to hear from some of you each week. Thank you for taking the time to write me and tell me how things are going.
Tomorrow I will have my first intercombio, and I will be staying in my area, and a new missionary will be coming for 24 hours to learn and see how things should be done. My companion will go to the other area and see how her trainer is doing with training. I’m really nervous, and I’m not sure how well her Spanish is, so tomorrow will be interesting. :)
This is the last week from my companion. She goes home Tuesday afternoon. This week I get to be on the watch and help her remember that she is still a missionary, and just because she is finishing her mission doesn’t mean that stop working. I think that this week I will need to pack her bags and help her get on the bus, because she doesn’t want to go home...  In the ward, three missionaries are going home this transfer. Every companionship will get a new companion this next week. It’s so sad... But at the same time.... I’m ready for a change. And the ward needs new faces. Just NEW things... :)
This week my Book of Mormon’s spine broke... and I couldn’t carry my book with me for a few days. It was during this time that I saw how important the BofM is in my life. I felt so helpless without my book....  Finally. We found a book store, and we asked what kind of glue I could use to fix it. The store owner happily superglued my book, and didn’t charge me a dime... well a sole, because I’m in Peru. :) I feel normal now, and I never leave without my BofM now. What a blessing we have in our lives to read this book every day. Count your many blessing, people
I think that I might train this next transfer, which would mean that I will get a brand new missionary.... :) I’m scared to train. I don’t feel like my Spanish isn’t as well as I need to train, and I am hoping  that I don’t. But  I am praying that will be prepared for my future. Ill except what the Lord wants me to do, because I know that he will help me.
Life is good. Go to the temple this week. I know your lives will be crazy this week with school and everything starting up again, but remember the important things in this life....
Love you all! Thank you for your prayers. I know that God lives and we are His children.
Love

Hermana Hansen
