Okay, I am
super happy this week! This week seems like it went by really fast, but I can
tell that it was hard because my body is starting to ache. Just little pains
here and there, but I like it. Sometimes the days go by and I feel like I have
just been visiting friends. The people are so nice, and I know that the Lord is
guiding me and my companion because it’s easy to talk to these people! :) I
love starting the little truths that I know are true. That God lives, I am a
child of God. He hears and answers my prayers. And that He is really waiting
for me on the other side of the veil... cheering me on in my life. I know that
this gospel is TRUE, and this week it was alot easier to share it.
I truly had
some bonding moments with my companion this week! And now I can’t picture my
mission without her. :) I have learned so many things from her already, and I
am excited for the short time that we will have together. I am honestly afraid
that in the next two months, I will get transferred. After her training... I
will leave Garatea, and her to "die" in another area. :( Time is
flying by, and the Lord is blessing me right now with some good times!
Last week we
found a fisherman. The next visit we met his 14 yr. old daughter. And this
Sunday, they came to the first hour of church! They are the first people that I
have personally found that have actually gone to church! :) Yesterday I was so
happy. We met with them in their house in the afternoon and they loved the
meeting. And they love this church. They know that it is different, and they
want to know why. :) They are doing great! :) His daughter has a baptism date
for the next month, and we are hoping that we can get them both baptized on the
same date. It would be a dream come true, and an amazing gift for Heavenly
Father. Please pray for them. They are amazing!
This week I
asked my companion why I had so many split ends in my hair if I don’t have a
blow dryer or a straightener to damage my hair... she responded... The
sand..... I honestly started laughing... but I don’t really know if sand can do
that kind of thing.
A few weeks
ago we started singing to people to get them to talk to us. We go up to a door,
and ask them if we can sing. And then after we share a little about the message
that we have, and walk in the door, or set another appointment to come back.
With one of these people, we found a teenager... at the time we thought she was
18... The following week when we came back we taught her mom and aunt... WHO
ARE MEMBERS, but less actives.... It was amazing! And the teen is so cute, and I
think that we can get the mom active again, and baptize her daughter! :)
My package
came from mom this week! And I held off to eat the Reese’s bar... today I
opened it, and I think that I will finish it tomorrow! :) I love it! It’s so
good! :)
Everything
is alot better. I have really tried to think about how my training was, and
help my comp have a better time. I am trying to teach her everything that I
know, and help her grow in all that she is doing! :) Life is good. I am happy,
and laughing more than ever. Everyone in our area knows us as the happy
laughing, singing sisters! :) And I love it!!!! :) We know alot of people, and
in every corner there are people that wave at us! :)
Thank you
for everything that you are doing, and all the letters that you send. I love
you all....

I really can’t
believe how time is flying! Know that you are always in my heart, and prayers.
I’m trying
to be a good missionary and represent the family name with honor!
