WEEK 41: Week 5 Of Training

Sept 28, 2015

This week flew past my face! Holy cow! I cannot believe all that happened and flew!!!! FLEW BY!
Monday. I went to Trujillo in the night time. I stayed in a huge apartment, and slept on a bunkbed... nothing really exciting happened this day! :)
Tuesday. I spent all day in Trujillo. I went to Trujillo to do some kind of paperwork... I didn’t really understand what I was doing, but I signed a paper to permit an elder to do all my legal papers and what not to go home. :) Then after that I went to see a doctor because I have something wrong with my skin. But the doctor said I wasn’t going to die, and that it’s a reaction that my skin has for the humidity... but It will go away, so all it well! :) After seeing the doctor, I snuck over to see President and Sister Marler. Oh how I have missed them! And they missed me. President said that he was happy to see my smiling face smiling... so he knew that I was doing good, and all was well! He told me that he will be waiting to see me at the airport to give me a HUGE goodbye huge from him. Oh how trunky that made me! They are like my second parents! I know that day will be hard to say goodbye to them! :/
Wednesday. We had our district meeting, and learned about the importance of families. We try and find families, because they are more likely to accept, progress, and get baptized in the gospel when they do everything together. We have a goal to find a family every week! :)
Thursday. Thursday I woke up sick. We did our weekly planning, and then I called the doctor to get meds, and to see if there was a possibility that I could sleep. I got permission, and slept until 4 in the afternoon. When I woke up I felt so much better! But I also am taking alot of pills to help me get better quickly, and still be able to be a missionary.:) But I just have a little cough now. So I am good.
Saturday. WOMENS CONFERENCE!!! And I got to watch the last hour in English. It was amazing! I loved the talk from Elder Uchtdorf. AH. It made me so excited and happy for this following weekend! AHAHA!!! :)
Sunday. Well it was a Sunday. WE visited people and members.
This week the mission work was slow. We didn’t teach that many people, and all the appointments that we had fell through. I know this week we will be knocking on doors, and talking to alot of people! :)
Today for p day, we are making TACOS!!!! Homemade tacos with a family of members! :) It will be an experiment, because they don’t have quit all the ingredients that we need, but I feel like playing "mom", and substituting things in! Hopefully it works out, and tastes good because we have to feed 30 people in all! :) I’ll make sure to take alot of pictures and send them next week!
Life is good, and I keep smiling! :) I’m enjoying my time with hna. Rowley. She is doing so well, and I sometimes feel like she is training me, because she is amazing. I am learning alot of good things from her about life, and also SLC and BYU!. She has a goal to convince me to go to BYU, but I don’t think that will ever happen. It’s my Team, but I will never go there! :)
The sun is coming out, and everyone is talking about the weather... saying that a Huge storm is coming in November... :) We will see! People are crazy about the weather here, and LOVE to talk about it!:)
I LOVE PERÚ!!!!! le AMO Perú! It’s a beautiful place. I will for sure come back soon! :)
I love you all! Thank you for everything! :)
